For the History of the Text and Old Testament Exegesis

The Dominique Barthélemy Institute for the History of the Text and Old Testament Exegesis  (hereafter Barthélemy Institute) is an Institute of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Fribourg. It came into being officially on 1 July 2009, the date on which its statutes were ratified by the « Département de l’Instruction Publique, de la Cultlure et du Sport » of the Canton of Fribourg.
